It's official I have been here an entire week (Tuesday to Tuesday).
Went for a shorter run..at 630am had some chow. 9am house meeting.. yikes (dirty dishes, stolen hummus, balcony parties, mass chaos) can't wait to hear about it.. everyone has their stuff on individual shelves..and cabinents (some more intense than others)
People leave little notes...24 people living here..3 refridgerators..its a lost cause.
I am now relieved that I know that the mail gets here correctly--got my first snail mail today. Yay. Could possibly be the first to get mail.
I now hide certain dishes/blender/ other accessories that I use in the kitchen so that people dont make nasty concoctions and leave it in there for days to rot and mold...also fun to see people look for them/ask for them (Papa I thought you'd like that idea--stir up some fun).
Today we went took the bus into Sydney and a short ferry ride to the Taronga Zoo. We left around 1045 but the ferry was at 1130. I snagged the biggest sandwich (Vegetarian Focaccias) I could find at the ferry cafe.. let me tell you-woah. I ate the whole thing..needed some fuel for all the walking around.. after going to the zoo we went to the Botanic Gardens in Sydney..
We got back around dinner time..so I snagged some fruit at the market and decided to get the same pasta dish that I got last week..
I topped it off with some gelato from Gelatissimo--1 scoop of hazelenut and 1 scoop of american chocolate (snickers--haha)..
